Singapore, Warm and Modern

In August of 1965 Singapore became an independent nation.  Since that time foreign investors have continued to invest money in the county until today it is a financial leader in the world.  The city has been built with a focus on industry,  education and land use planning.  When the tourist views the down town area he sees high rise buildings.  Some of these house financial institutions,  some of them house modern Singapore hotels, and many of them house businesses.  Amid these gleaming towers of glass and steel you will find a warm and loving people. People that seem to thrive on welcoming foreigners to their soil.
