WII Error Code 209600

A frequent Wii Error seems to be Error Code 209600, which appearss when trying to access the WII Shop. This error can happen due to a server error. So just go ahead and give it another try. May be wait some minutes. You may also try changing your wireless router to channel 1. This worked for me. Changing my router to channel 1 had another advantage: testing my connection is now faster too. You will find it under the options menu. Error Code 209600 in most cases does not mean that there is something completely wrong with your WII hardware. It is usually not required to return your WII to Nintendo.
