Switching providers: Dish Network vs Direct TV

I have had Direct TV for a few years now, but I have recently begun switching from Direct TV to Dish Network (I know blasphemy!) I am wondering whether anyone else out there has made the transition and whether they can give me their opinions on the Dish Network vs Direct TV debate. Has anyone else changed from Direct TV to Dish Network? If yes, was it worth it to switch? Were there any issues that led you to switch providers? If yes, did you feel that your issues were addressed by the new provider? Would you recommend that other people switch from Direct TV to Dish Network?
