Many people are not sure exactly what an high speed internet provider is. In fact, you may even be saying to yourself: “What does ISP stand for?” Simply put, ISP stands for “Internet Service Provider”. The internet service provider is the company that provides you the connection to the internet. There are thousands of companies out there that offer this. A popular company that many people know about (and see commercials on television for it every day) is Net Zero. They focus on dial up and claim to provide dial up that is five times faster than normal dial up speeds. Another very popular name would be Sprint. Sprint provides all type of connections to the internet. The ISP can provide broadband, satellite, and/or dial up connections for a user to access the internet.
