Crappy Short Games

Sometimes I do not understand how game developers can make a crappy game that is also short. Now some may say that is a good thing that way the pain of playing through the game is quick, but sometimes you wonder how much effort actually went into making the game and why they even made it. Now if I was downloading games online I would not care as much because I could just move onto the next one, but if I bought it at the store I am out of luck. That is why it is good to research a game before purchase, and also find a cheap way of getting the games, so just in case you do not like the game you do not feel bad about it.
