Have you ever noticed how many players go broke holding pocket aces. According to Texas Holdem Poker Tips by Randy Charach at a full table the pocket aces only win about 17% of the time, so how do you play them. Since they are the very best starting hand you bet them but don’t go all in pre-flop. Stay aggressive but keep an eye on the table. A well hidden 2 pair or flopped set will usually shop in the way someone bets. Playing aggressively doesn’t mean playing foolishly. Poker is about discipline not luck. Know what you are doing and stay just aggressive enough to keep the other players off balance.
