Here’s a breif Vegas Bowl 2008 Summary :Arizona Wildcats from the PAC-10 versus the Cougars of Brigham Young University. Arizona was the fifth pick from it’s conference while BYU was the third team taken to a bowl from its conference. The game was on December 20, 2008 and began at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard time to a sold-out Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, with over 40,000 spectators.The Wildcats beat the ranked 16th Cougars quite convincingly (31-21) in what was the coldest Vegas bowl in history. The BYU Cougars finished a disappointing season with no title or championship, having lost to the University of Utah and Texas Christian University in the Mountain West Conference.
