Tattoo is part of the culture of most natives around the world. Native Americans are often referred to as “Polynesian Tattooing”. For the natives, tattoo is a vast area of designs and symbols that is part of the Polynesian culture. However, the tattoo culture in North America has already vanished. The main reason for this is the colonization of the United States by settlers from Europe, Mexico and Canada. There are also the prevailing religious practices in the Native Americans that prohibit the natives to put away their tradition, scared and cultural practices including putting tattoos all over their bodies.
