Long vs. Short Japanese Candlestick Bodies.
October 28th, 2008 by admin
The Japanese candlestick method for analyzing commodity buying and selling has been around for over 150 years.
It has proved to be one of the most accurate representations of price information for its users for years.
The primary part of each candlestick is known as the body.
It’s the length of each body that tells traders how intense the buying and selling of a commodity is.
For example: A long body represents a more intense buying and selling environment, while a short body represents a less-intense environment.
Such information is important for traders because so much of price is determined by how much activity a given commodity is bringing and how quickly.
