My family was transferred to England and my teen aged children adapted quickly. In fact, my fifteen-year-old, Sabrina, made friends with a young man when we had been there about three months. They stayed close for three years, then his family moved away. He told her that he would have to change mobile phone carriers but would use a pac code and keep the same number, just so they never missed a call. He wanted her to have his “forever number”. He was as good as his work and four years later they were married. They still have the same mobile number.
