Modern Room Styling

When I think back to the living room of my parents era, at the center of everyone’s decor were coffee tables. Everyone used them, whether they were watching television, or someone was visiting.
The styles back then were very different from those of today. Ours had been previously owned by my grandparents. It had been made by my great grandfather, who was a carpenter by trade. It was wooden, cherry I think. Anyhow, it was stained dark and had curved legs with a carved design in each leg. Of course, there were the usual scars from being used by generations. I love that old table. Maybe because I know it has been used by the people I love!
