If you want to make swiss roll cake just like a professional dessert chef, you’d better watch the pastry master in action. The video shows how the master prepares the dough, and also how the dough is rolled. The latter certainly requires a lot of practice. It looks quite simple in the video but I guess that’s mainly because she prepared the perfect dough that is very soft and easy to roll. The filling is a strawberry cream mix but any variation of fruits will do, as well. It is also possible to fill the roll with butter cream. Then, however, it’s important to let the dough cool down after baking, because otherwise the buttercream will melt directly.
