How To Choose A Contractor For A Bathroom Makeover

The most difficult part of remodeling a house seems to be the bathroom. My husband and I have remodeled three such homes. The bathrooms always seem to present unique problems for us and for the contractors we hire. There are some things we have learned about how best to choose someone who can address all of those Bathroom Fixes you have in mind.

You may benefit from using a third party service to send out a job description to multiple contractors. This takes direct pressure off of you in the beginning. Provide the third part with a description of the job that needs to be done. Include information such as the square footage involved, the budget you have available to cover the job, what your biggest concerns are related to the work, i.e. quality of completed work, timeliness of the work, appearance of the completed work, and budgetary overruns.

You can find third party providers online. There is a fee for the service but it can save you in wasted time ferreting out the right contractor for the job, really is priceless. Don’t start any renovations if you have doubts about the service provider.
