Helping My Friend Get a House

I’m not married and I don’t have any children yet, but I have plenty of friends that have either one or the other, or both even. One of my friends, a recently divorced mother of two had to move into an apartment in a bad area of town because she couldn’t afford the house any longer on her salary. I didn’t want them all living in a bad area, so I researched single parent home grants and came across something that looked like it would work for my friend. She applied and was approved and now they’re living in a nice home.
