Bamboo floors stay damage free

I used to cringe when I thought about getting hardwood floors. I always thought they looked great, but I have kids and dogs. I just knew they were going to get all beat up. My friend asked me if I would consider getting a bamboo floor. I said that I never really thought about it. She said it was harder then other hardwoods. Which meant that it would wear well over time. I also like that it was more environmentally safe, since bamboo can grow back faster over time then trees can. I was ready. Several months later, I was really impressed with how my floor looked.
