Grandma has a Remedy for Every Baby Problem

One of the things I love about having my grandmother live nearby is that she seems to have a solution for almost any problem, especially if it involves babies. This is not that unusual, since her own mother was an English midwife. I was especially grateful for Gran when my newborn son began crying non stop. The doctor told me the baby was healthy but had colic. Nothing he told me to do quieted my son. Gran gave a bottle of colic gripe water, which I tried that night. My son slept through the night for the first time in weeks.
