Going Green

The newest trend in this generation seems to be going green. Did it all start a few years ago when Al Gore decided not to run for President again but to take on a new challenge of global warming? I know that is when I first became aware of the alarming natural, or unnatural, phenomenon going on in our planet and we are destroying the earth at an alarming rate. If I start buying organic products will that help in keeping my carbon footprint to a minimum while I am living? I like the idea of organic and I want to buy it for all the right reasons.
