Travellers to Bombay - beware and take care!

A number of airlines are flouting Foreign Office advice and continuing to deliver passengers from the UK to Bombay (also known as Mumbai). According to the article “Westerners flying to Bombay may not have travel insurance cover!” people who are nervous about flying out to Bombay at this moment are encouraged to approach their airline or tour operator to arrange an alternative date.
Unfortunately, however, customers will not be able to get a refund at this time.
A word of warning! If you travel out to Bombay, you will be going against Foreign Office ruling making your travel insurance invalid. Check with your insurance company for information regarding this.
If you do choose to travel to Bombay despite the current terrorist activities in the city, stay safe and take care.
