Thankfully Husband’s Job is Safe

My husband is so relieved not to have lost his job yesterday. He works as the warehouse manager over in Bristol. The company hired a non-executive director to come in and evaluate all the departments and find out where there could be cutbacks. Everyone has been nervous and scared of losing their jobs. Every department saw some losses. The corporate world is a scary creature these days. I am so glad that I got out of it when Robert and I got married. As a stay at home wife and mother, my job security is pretty well secured. Yes, sometimes I miss the friends I had at work, but I do not miss the politics.
