Camping the Ledges.

Where is your favorite place to take your vacation in Iowa? On my many Iowa vacations my favorites have always been camping and my favorite camping site is the Ledges State Park. The campground is well kept and there are lots of activities to participate in. One of the best things to do is to actually go see the ledges. They look like a miniature version of the Grand Canyon except these were cut through limestone by a much smaller river. It’s still a great view and there are trails throughout the entire park. They are all well marked and accessible.
