One can learn to play the violin through music lessons. It is said that there is no replacement for human instruction and so traditional music lessons can be a good way to learn.
There are violin teachers that will teach you how to learn to play the violin. Some offer an hourly rate which is up to $75 an hour. But you should be careful on your relationship to the tacher or else you will find yourself looking for a new one.
Though you will have to travel to meet with your music instructor, you can arrange the meeeting at your place but it will also increase the price of the music lesson.
No matter how far the distance is, the most important thing is to learn the lessons by heart.
